Jason Weisz
President & Outdoor Living & Pool Sales Manager
Jason resides in Gunter, TX, with his wife, Heather and their kids. Jason’s love of the great outdoors doesn’t end with his chosen profession. When Jason isn’t overseeing the many aspects of daily operations of Weisz Selection’s business, you will find him at his family’s ranch — hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his kids. When not at the ranch, Jason can be seen at his children’s various activities and at his wife’s reining competitions, showing his support for his family as their “number one fan.” He and his family also enjoy and regularly attend their church, Rock Creek Church, formerly known as, COC Metro. Jason thoroughly enjoys the design aspect of his business, especially creating unique designs that transform the ordinary backyard into an extraordinary space that draws property owners outdoors.
Ron Hathcoat
Commercial & Municipal Projects Manager
Ron joined the team in 2008 and is a long -time resident of Celina, TX.. When Ron isn’t busy making sure we are providing the quality services we are known for, he enjoys traveling, watching classic western movies and visiting with friends & neighbors. Ron also pastors a local Baptist church in McKinney, TX. Since Ron is a “people-person,” he looks forward to meeting new clients and establishing lasting business relationships.
Lisa Pierce
Customer Service & Office Manager
Lisa joined the team in 2010. She resides with her husband and two children in Lowry Crossing, TX. Lisa is a former teacher of 13 years as well as a former business owner. She enjoys spending time with her family and can occasionally be found performing special music with her family at her church. She also enjoys reading, traveling and researching genealogy. Her philosophy as a former business owner, which has carried over into her current position, is that a superior level of customer service is what sets us apart from similar companies. “We strive to treat our customers the way that we would want to be treated,” Lisa says.
Heather Weisz
Marketing Manager & Assistant Office Manager
Heather joined the team in 2012 and is Jason’s wife. Her hobbies include spending time with family, hiking, swimming, skiing, as well as breeding, raising and showing the family’s reining horses. Heather will tell you she thoroughly enjoys working “behind the scenes,” designing creative & effective advertising that aligns with our company’s goals.
Ryan McLaughlin
General Operations
Ryan brought his versatility and strong work ethic to our team in January 2022. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 2009 with a BA in Sociology and a Minor in Business Management. He has been in the construction industry for 9 years, and the pool industry for 6 years. He is well versed in Construction, Surveying, Design, Permits, Maintenance and Service. He is constantly creating and looking for ways to help our business grow and improve.
On a personal note, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda, and their son Miles, who they welcomed into the world February 2022. He loves being outdoors and completing projects around the house. He also enjoys going to sporting events, concerts, and movies.
Since Ryan handles General Operations, you may see him throughout the entire construction process as he often assists the Survey Technicians, Design Team, Sales Team, Permitting Team, Project Managers, Service Manager, and even our Advertising Department. Essentially, Ryan will jump right in and assist the team wherever his expertise is needed! Give him a smile and a wave as he is helping to bring your dreams into reality.
Gerald Stone II
Outdoor Living & Pool Design Manager
Gerald joined our team in 2019. After graduating with an Associates Degree in Architectural and Civil Drafting/Design, Gerald quickly put his degree to work and has been in the drafting industry since 2008. It has been 8+ years since he started specializing in Outdoor Living & Pool Design as well as code compliance.
On a more personal note, Gerald enjoys spending time with his family traveling, watching movies, going to yard sales and gaming. He and his wife, Heather, have been married for 8 wonderful years and have three great kids.
If you stop by the office for a design meeting you will likely meet with him to design your very own dream staycation destination. You can watch as he transforms your backyard from what it is now to what it could be and even see it in 3-D! Gerald loves taking his designs to the “next level” and is looking forward to designing the next extraordinary project! Will it be yours?
Lance Blanks
Outdoor Living &Pool Construction Superintendent
Lance has been in the construction industry for 7+ years, the past 5 as a project manager overseeing custom pool installations. His extensive knowledge and expertise make him a wonderful asset in our construction department.
When Lance, a quintessential family man, isn’t busy managing his projects at work, you will find him spending time with his wife and two sons. His favorite pastimes take place in the great outdoors — hunting, fishing, enjoying the families’ horses, and spending time with his father-in-law, the great horseman, Punk Carter. Lance has called Celina home for more than 3 decades and truly enjoys the small-town atmosphere.
So if you’re wanting a custom pool or outdoor living area to be installed in your backyard, and Lance is your project manager, he will ensure the construction process results in your dream becoming a reality!
John Higdon
Outdoor Living & Pool
Sales Specialist
John Higdon is a seasoned sales and design professional who has become an integral part of our team here at Weisz Selection.
With over 23 years of expertise in the pool and outdoor living industry, John brings extensive experience in using his natural rapport with customers and his proficiency in 3D Pool Studio software to create innovative and visually stunning outdoor spaces. He is also very familiar with the construction process and the various city codes/easements, helping to ensure the seamless execution of his customers’ design visions and their translation into reality.
John and his wife, Carolyn, are long-time residents of Collin County and have lived in Celina for over ten years. He enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, working in his gardens, and entertaining his two granddaughters in his own pool and outdoor living space.
Holden Snider
Survey & Permit Technician
Holden joined our team in March 2021 and has been flourishing ever since. He takes pride in his projects and has a strong work-ethic. As a team player, Holden is always willing to help out whenever and wherever needed. He may be the first face you see from Weisz Selection as he surveys your property to aid in the design of your custom project. You may be speaking to him throughout the permitting process as well while he and Ryan work together to take your project through permitting and HOA approval, when necessary.
As a native Texan, Holden graduated from Prosper High School and went directly into the workforce. When he’s not managing his projects or assisting the survey team, Holden loves spending time with his fiancé, Genevieve, and their son, Grayson. He also enjoys hanging out with friends and family, being outdoors, and watching sporting events. The tight knit family environment here at Weisz Selection is something that Holden appreciates about his job.
Holden brings enthusiasm to his work and garners great satisfaction in being an integral part of transforming backyards from blank canvases to masterpieces! Denyse McCord
Receptionist & Selection Specialist
With an associate degree in Interior Design and Merchandising, Denyse has been a great asset to our team. For more than 15 years, she owned and/or managed multiple businesses.
Born and raised in Pilot Point, Texas, Denyse “bleeds orange and black” and is very involved with her local community and her church, where she volunteers on a regular basis. When Denyse is not at work, she can often be found serving up delicious food in the concessions at the local sporting games or decorating for a special event. During her “free time”, she enjoys long motorcycle rides and crafting. A few years ago, when her husband was diagnosed with cancer, she took a break from the daily grind to care for him. When her husband lost his battle with cancer, she decided to take a little more time to be with her children.
After spending some quality togetherness with her two teenagers, she decided it was time to get back into the workforce. We were happy to welcome Denyse to our team in 2021. She utilizes her design expertise to help guide our clients through the process of selecting the right elements for their custom projects such as tile, coping and decking. She’s looking forward to helping you make the “Weisz Selection”!
