At Weisz Selection Outdoor Living Specialists, we’re fast growing and looking for a full-time, year-round Pool Service Technician! Basic water chemistry and plumbing skills are a plus, along with knowledge of basic power tool operation. We offer paid training, tools and a company vehicle to use to complete daily tasks. Requirements:
- Have a positive attitude and enjoy working with others.
- Must have a valid clean driver's license (you must have a license in order to operate our company vehicles so this is non-negotiable).
- Must be available to work 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with some potential weekend and holiday work.
- Ability to work for long periods of time in outdoor temperatures.
- Able to lift heavy equipment.
- Effective communicator (both verbally & written), high proficiency with emailing and instant messaging.

Pay: $35,000 per year

Job Description:
As a Pool Sales and Design Consultant at Weisz Selection Outdoor Specialists, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional outdoor living spaces for our clients. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the entire process, from initial consultation to project completion, ensuring their visions are realized with precision and excellence. Past pool sales experience is required, as is experience working with Pool Design Software. You must be dependable, willing to get to work right away, and enjoy outside sales. We provide the leads!

Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their outdoor living needs, preferences, and budgetary considerations. Conduct thorough site evaluations to assess space availability and potential design opportunities.

Design and Development: Utilize your creative prowess and knowledge of outdoor design principles to conceptualize and develop bespoke pool and outdoor living renovations. Collaborate with clients to refine designs and ensure alignment with their vision.

Project Pricing and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive project proposals, including detailed pricing estimates and presentation materials. Clearly articulate the proposed project scope, design concepts, and value proposition to clients during in-office or on-site presentations.

Relationship Building: Actively cultivate relationships with related businesses, such as landscapers and builders, to generate referrals and expand our network of industry partners.

Software Utilization: Leverage company utilized software tools to streamline design processes, enhance client presentations, and ensure project accuracy.

Reporting and Goal Adherence: Prepare and maintain various status reports, including activity logs, follow-up actions, and adherence to sales goals. Proactively identify and discuss areas for improvement and strategies to optimize sales performance.

Flexibility and Availability: Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs. This position can require occasional weekend work depending on client availability.

Follow -Up: Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales journey, from initial contact to post-sale-follow-up, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long term relationships.

Administrative Tasks: Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly, including sales contracts and customer information forms.
Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to strategically position our products in the marketplace.

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
  • Past Pool Sales experience is required.
  • Prior experience working with Pool Design Software is required.
  • Proficiency in Structure Studios – version 3 (Pool Studios or VizTerra), Auto CAD (newer than 2004), Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong presentation abilities, and a client-centric approach.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, coupled with a competitive nature and a drive for success.
  • Ability to visualize finished construction projects and convey design concepts effectively to clients.
    Professionalism, integrity, positive attitude, and a commitment to building lasting client relationships.
    Self-starter, positive attitude, good work ethic, reliable, detail oriented and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
