Lawn Maintenance Crew Member-

Responsibilities: Assists Lawn Maintenance Crew Supervisor in all areas of daily operations. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: operation of equipment (commercial zero-turn riding mowers, brake controlled walk behind mowers, line trimmers, blowers, etc.); proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment; chemical applications; trash/debris pickup (all trash/debris is to be secured so as not to fly out of vehicle or look unsightly, and no trash is to be left in the Company vehicles’ cabs or beds upon completion of the work day); and assorted tasks that relate to lawn and landscape maintenance operations. Reports directly to Lawn Maintenance Crew Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays as needed) in sometimes adverse weather conditions
  • Experience / Ability to operate listed equipment
  • Ability to consistently lift 60+ pounds and walk 2+ miles per day
  • Basic understanding of mechanical equipment maintenance
  • Valid Drivers License-Preferred-not mandatory
  • Education: High School Diploma- Preferred-not mandatory
  • Ability to follow directions and work as a TEAM

Candidates must have strong organizational skills, ability to complete appropriate paperwork, and possess good leadership and communications skills.

 

Supervisors are responsible for picking up the daily Route Lists, recording all necessary information, including the following:

  • Detailed individual property notes. For example-
  1. Reason for uncompleted job/task on daily route list
  2. Reason for and description of completed job/task that was not included on daily route list
  3. Reason for and description of necessary job/task not included on daily route list that needs approval to be completed at property (with an estimate as to how long it would take to complete the job)
  4. Description of job/task property owner requests to be completed at a later date (with an estimate as to how long it would take to complete the job)
  • Beginning and ending time necessary to complete each job/task on daily route list as well as any job/task added to original daily route list.
  • Returning completed daily route list with thorough and accurate billing information for chargeable work performed to office personnel.

Landscape/Hardscape Care & Installation Crew Member

Responsibilities: Assists Landscape/Hardscape Care & Installation Crew Supervisor in all areas of daily operations. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: operation of equipment(skid steer loader, etc.); proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment; pruning; weeding; planting annual flowers; planting trees and shrubs; installing mulch; raking; tree trimming and removal; chemical applications; trash/debris pickup (all trash/debris is to be secured so as not to fly out of vehicle or look unsightly, and no trash is to be left in the Company vehicles’ cabs or beds upon completion of the work day); and assorted tasks that relate to landscape/hardscape care & installation operations. Reports directly to Landscape/Hardscape Care & Installation Crew Supervisor.
Qualifications:

  • Availability to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays as needed) in sometimes adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to consistently lift 60+ pounds
  • Basic knowledge of plant care & identification and weed identification
  • Basic knowledge of landscape & hardscape care and installation practices
  • Valid Drivers License – Preferred
  • Experience / Ability to operate listed equipment such as, Skid Steer Loader – Preferred
  • Education: High School Diploma – Preferred

Irrigation Crew Member-

Responsibilities: Assists Irrigation Crew Supervisor in all areas of daily operations. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: operation of equipment (Ditch Witch, etc); proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment; and assorted tasks that relate to irrigation system installation, maintenance and repair as well as lawn and landscape maintenance operations. Reports directly to Irrigation Crew Supervisor.
Qualifications:

  • Availability to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays as needed) in sometimes adverse weather conditions
  • Experience / Ability to operate listed equipment
  • Ability to consistently lift 60+ pounds and walk 2+ miles per day
  • Basic understanding of mechanical equipment maintenance
  • Valid Drivers License-Preferred-not mandatory
  • Education: High School Diploma- Preferred-not mandatory

Irrigation Crew Supervisor-

Responsibilities: Tasks may include, but are not limited to: operation of equipment (Ditch Witch, etc); design and install new or renovated irrigation systems; diagnose problems with and repair of irrigation systems; purchase parts needed to repair irrigation systems maintaining accurate inventory records and strict cost control; activate, program and deactivate irrigation systems according to customer specifications, seasonal priorities and/or pre-established schedules; ensure proper use, maintenance, and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned while keeping current equipment service logs; assorted tasks that relate to irrigation system design, installation, maintenance and repair operations. Responsible for directing crew of 1 – 4 laborers in daily operations including quality control, punctuality, and safety. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, ability to complete appropriate paperwork, and possess good leadership and communications skills.

Chemical Applicator/ IPM Crew Member-

Responsibilities: Assists Chemical Applicator/IPM Crew Supervisor in all areas of daily operations. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: operation of equipment (Spray rig, etc.); proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment; chemical and organic applications of pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers; and assorted tasks that relate to chemical and organic applications, fertilization and integrated pest management operations. Reports directly to Chemical Applicator/IPM Crew Supervisor.
Qualifications:

  • Availability to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays as needed) in sometimes adverse weather conditions
  • Experience / Ability to operate listed equipment
  • Ability to consistently lift 60+ pounds and walk 2+ miles per day
  • Basic understanding of mechanical equipment maintenance
  • Valid Drivers License-Preferred-not mandatory
  • Education: High School Diploma- Preferred-not mandatory
  • Ability to follow directions and work as a TEAM

 

Chemical Applicator/IPM Crew Supervisor-

Responsibilities: Tasks may include, but are not limited to: operation of equipment (Spray rig, etc.); ensure proper use, maintenance, and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned while keeping current equipment service logs; perform chemical and fertilizer applications; knowledge of various plant material, diagnose turf/plant problems and basic pest identification and formulate plan to optimize lawn/plant health;  scout, evaluate, manage and apply a broad range of chemicals; and assorted tasks that relate to chemical and organic applications, fertilization and integrated pest management operations. Responsible for directing crew of 1 – 4 laborers in daily operations including quality control, punctuality, and safety. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, ability to complete appropriate paperwork, and possess good leadership and communications skills.

  • A current Texas Chemical Applicator License, or willingness to obtain one – REQUIRED
  • Experience operating equipment; Spray Rig, etc. – REQUIRED
  • Valid Drivers License with good record – REQUIRED
  • Education: High School Diploma or higher – Preferred
